Doculabs at Twin Cities ARMA Spring Conference

Twin Cities ARMA, the area’s leading association for RIM professionals, is holding its day-long Spring Conference on Wednesday, April 6. The theme of this year’s conference is “Great information management requires good records management.” And who better to speak on both topics than two representatives from Doculabs:
- 10:00 – 11:15 a.m. Education Session 2: “Migrating Content to the Cloud,” Richard Medina, Co-Founder and Principal Consultant, Doculabs—As many organizations consider cloud-based solutions to meet their content management needs, Rich offers timely recommendations and best practices and recommendations for how to ensure effective information governance as you migrate content and applications to the cloud, with step-by-step explanations for how to plan and implement an effective cloud roadmap.
- 1:30 – 2:45 p.m. Education Session 5: “The Intersecting Worlds of Information Security and Information Governance,” Lane Severson, Practice Leader, Doculabs—In the face of recent data breaches, a number of organizations are expanding the purview of the information security function to include information management. Lane will present on what this means for the role of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), as it expands to include risk mitigation activities of identifying, managing, and disposing of sensitive information.
